Simon Shaw

Simon joined the London Wasps in 1997. Over the next 14 seasons Simon won every honour available in the English game as the club enjoyed a sustained period of success, including four Premiership titles and two Heineken Cups.

In May 2008, Simon became the first player ever to play in 200 Premiership matches. In 2003 Simon was called up to the squad following an injury to Danny Grewcock, earning an MBE as part of the World Cup winning team. Simon toured with the British & Irish Lions in 1997 and 2005.

On his return from the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand, London Wasps agreed to release Simon and he completed his move to Toulon on an initial deal to the end of the 2011/2012 season. Simon retired in 2014 and now spends his time between the UK and France.
